Welcome to Tracker by ryanabhii ("the app"), a local-first personal organiser developed by Xenon54. By installing, accessing, or using the app, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use the app.

1. License and Permitted Use

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable, and limited license to install and use the app on your personal mobile devices solely for your own personal use.

2. Data Ownership and Local Storage

The app operates as a local-first application. This means:

  • All notes, logs, trades, budgets, reminders, and recordings you create inside the app are stored exclusively on your device's local memory.
  • We do not host or operate any database server or backup service. You are solely responsible for protecting your device and making backups to prevent data loss.
  • If you uninstall the app or perform a factory reset of your device without a prior backup, all data stored in the app will be permanently lost.

3. Google Drive Sync Integration

The app offers an optional cloud synchronization feature utilizing the Google Drive API:

  • If you choose to sign in to your Google Account, the app will write backup and synchronization files to a private, hidden folder (the appDataFolder) in your own Google Drive storage.
  • This synchronization is direct between your device and Google's servers. We do not inspect, intercept, or copy any files, credentials, or metadata transmitted during this process.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Google account. We are not liable for any issues, data corruption, synchronization failures, or unauthorized access arising from your Google Drive account.

4. Disclaimers and Financial Tracking

The app contains features allowing you to track expenses, budgets, subscriptions, and financial trades:

You agree that you will not rely on the app for financial decisions, and you bear full responsibility for double-checking financial data.

5. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE", WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. IN NO EVENT SHALL THE DEVELOPERS OR COPYRIGHT HOLDERS BE LIABLE FOR ANY CLAIM, DAMAGES, OR OTHER LIABILITY, WHETHER IN AN ACTION OF CONTRACT, TORT, OR OTHERWISE, ARISING FROM, OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THE APP.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Xenon54 be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, exemplary, or consequential damages (including, but not limited to, procurement of substitute goods or services; loss of use, data, or profits; or business interruption) however caused and on any theory of liability, whether in contract, strict liability, or tort (including negligence or otherwise) arising in any way out of the use of this app.

7. Changes to the Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Any changes will be indicated by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the app after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
